Precision Mould Machining

Haser Metal has machined moulds for the automotive and home-appliance industries since 1990. We machine mould bases, plates, blocks and cores for plastic injection and metal moulds to tight tolerances and deliver them with dimensional inspection.

Which mould components do we machine?

Mould bases, fixed and moving plates, cavity and core blocks, mould cores, slides and inserts. Cooling channels for injection moulds are drilled on our deep hole drilling machine; large mould blocks are handled with our capacity of up to 24 tons. We work with tool steels (1.2311, 1.2312, 1.2738, 1.2344 etc.) and pre-hardened steels.

Accuracy and surface quality

In mould work surface quality matters as much as dimensional tolerance. After roughing we finish the part in a sequence that respects stress relief, inspect the critical surfaces and only then deliver. A dimensional report is available on request for every part.

A contract solution for mould makers

We provide contract mould machining for tool shops whose own capacity is full or who cannot handle large blocks. Send a drawing or 3D model (STEP, IGES); roughing, deep hole drilling, 5-axis work and finishing are completed under one roof with a single point of responsibility.

Frequently asked questions
